We've all done it - either bought a lens with a filter stuck on the end, or just got a filter stuck on the end of a lens, or worse, got a filter cross threaded!! It's a nightmare situation! This device is like a "backards vice", you wind the handle and clamp round the inner of the stuck filter ring, with a vice grip you can then easily remove the stuck device. Notes: These come in 2 sizes, large and small. -Large (see other listing) has reach approx of 30mm to 110mm (yes 11cm!) -To protect the glass of the filter, recommended that you put something between vice and glass, even just a scrap of paper, to avoid scratching. Not a problem if you dont care about the filter. -You should not overtighten if you care about the filter, as you could warp its shape. Just enough tightness will do. Too much might warp it, these are very strong devices, use gently please!
-and the small one (this item for sale here) has reach of approx 30mm to 75mm.
